As with most events, this celebration of MSHS artists is run solely by volunteers.

Set Up & Tear Down
Artwork will be hung up and put into display cases on Tuesday, April 18th beginning at 1pm. Students are welcome and invited to join us immediately after school. Sign-off for community service hours is available - just ask!
All submissions will be available for viewing by the MSHS and Snoqualmie Valley communities April 18-20, with an evening social event and awards presentation on Thursday, April 20th.
We will break down the event Friday, April 21th after school (about 12:30pm). Again, students are welcome to volunteer and sign-off for service hours is an option.
Please sign up to help! It's fun work and (as the saying goes) "many hands make light work"!

Prize Aquisition
All entries will be judged by community artists. Ribbons will be presented for First Place, Second Place and Third Place in each category, along with Honorable Mentions as applicable. In addition, a Grand Prize winner will be selected for each artistic category. If you have suggestions for prizes or are able to donate or procure an item, please contact Kara Spalding at [email protected].
Judges
As mentioned above, we strive to have community artists evaluate all artwork to select winners. We have contacts across the community, but if you are an artist (or know someone who is) who would be interested in being a part of this event, please let us know. The judging categories include: ceramics, digital media, drawing, horticulture (Bonsai), painting, photography and wood/metal sculpture. Contact Kara Spalding at [email protected] to discuss.
